=D Hahaha. Did this for fun cause I finished with relief casting and all that weird stuff.

I'm supposed to be designing a poster in class now. But I can't think so I played around with Photoshop instead. Hahaha. Assignments are one after another. Juggling with about 5 different assignments simultaneously. Blah. =(

Minghui needs sleep. And I'm like weeks behind in blogging.

Works So Far.

I feeling pretty lazy to go do my work now. Which has piled up amazingly in just two days. I think it's a new record laa, getting homework on the first day of school. =( And the stupid thing is that the previous batches of students could just select 6 photographs, but starting from us, we have to draw 6 pictures. Gahh.

Hence I decided to blog about the works of art that I've created over the past few months. Do check it out and critical comments are welcome. =)

If you didn't get it by now, then you never will! I should probably state here that in reality, I took less than 5 minutes in Photoshop to come up with the above "works of art". An awesome idea I had in class today when our lecturer asked us to think of a theme to unify our 6 different drawings. =P

Critical comments are still welcome though. =D

Rooftops and Light Paintings.

Gah this is from about 1 month ago. Haha. But went to this new cluster of blocks opposite my house on the 30th of May to take pictures with Chee Sheng, Hao Xiang and Ryan. It was around night time la, because Ryan and me were at Old Changi Hospital in the Afternoon.

Anyways the cluster was relatively new, and people only started moving in this year, so haha there weren't many people around, and the rooftop access at the carpark was unlocked. =D I think it's probably locked now though..


The rooftop was pretty windy. The view wasn't very nice since it's the rooftop of a carpark, but then again it's okay la. Hahaha. Took stupid pictures at the top for a while then we went back down.

Since we had luck with the rooftop access from the carpark being unlocked, we tried going to two other blocks but their roof accesses were padlocked. So we gave up. Haha.

AAAHHH.

Went walking around, then we decided to go to the MRT station.

Who throws away a stuffed toy when moving in. =/

It was already around 11.30pm, so the MRT station was quite deserted la.

Then we played around with jumpshots and exposures.

"Okay on the count of three. Readyy ahh, oneee, twoo*snap*"-Priceless. Hahahaha.

Jumpshots were taken mostly with Ryan's camera, since he had two flashes, and long exposures with mine, since I had a wireless remote. =)

You should zoom in to see their faces. Hahahaha.

From this picture, you can conclude that Chee Sheng is the blackest. =P

Played around with light painting which is fun, but hard to create something other than random squiggles. =D

We left at around 1.30am. Because Ryan's mother was coming to pick him up, and the mosquitoes were enjoying their buffet. Mosquito bites from Old Changi Hospital + Mosquito bites from Punggol = Torture. Had about 30+ bites all over la. I'm wearing long pants in the future hahaha.

Hao Xiang went to sleep at around 2.30am, Chee Sheng went to sleep at 5am, and I didn't go to sleep at all okay. Hahaha. Quite stupid since I'm staying awake at my own house. But haiyar, was going through all the Old Changi Hospital pictures and scaring myself anyways. Hahaha.

Minghui Being Random.

Okay finally got around to developing the film I got from Ryan's camera a long long time ago. Most of the pictures are from the time I sent my digital camera for repair and borrowed Ryan's Minolta X-700.

Haha I think it's an awesome camera, if only I had money to go buy a Nikon FM-10 ah.. It's quite challenging to take pictures with the X-700, cause you have to focus manually, check the shutter speed/aperture because changing ISO would mean changing film, and meter correctly. And you can't spam shots like crazy since a picture costs about 60 cents. =X A lot of my pictures turned out blurry and underexposed and all that la. But I think the pictures still look somewhat nice. =)

Didn't photoshop anything at all, besides adding the watermarks, cause i'm lazy I think all the pictures I took are just random snapshots. Hahaha.

I think the colors from the film are awesome. =D

The *click* from the shutter when you press the button is very shiok also. More shiok than my D80 la. Hahaha.

The signboard actually says "Hao Xiang Seafood Restaurant" which I've never realised before and hence took a picture of but forgot that the shutter speed at that level of light would kill the text and make it unreadable but anyways it says "Hao Xiang Seafood Restaurant" la. =D

Hahaha. Another random shot of Ryan. I think I got too many la. People might get the wrong idea. Blee.
