Happy Birthday To Me.

Planned to post this before my Birthday actually came. But then was caught up doing work for my mother, and the time now is 12.27am, so whatever. -.-

Happy Birthday To Me. Yay.

I guess a lot can change in 1 year. Maybe I shouldn't blog it all down cause it's kind of depressing in that sense. So don't read it if you feel surprisingly happy and amiable and positive and anything.

Feels weird to look back and realise that one year has passed. Last year I would have been at the field trip to Temasek Polytechnic, but that's last year all over again.

Last year around this time would have been the outing to Vivo City to watch Death Note, then the BBQ at Kenny's house, then all the quarrels and fights, maybe because of me.

1 year is more than enough to change a lot of things I guess. I've realised that I don't really want my birthday to come at all, I still want to go back and live in the past, I don't want to have to face everything in the future, I simply don't know what to do anymore.

My Grandfather's birthday was on the 14th, 3 days before mine. Celebrated in the hospital, and I just realised right there that my last living grandparent was lying in front of me. Cake tasted bittersweet. And the feeling was just impossible for me to describe.

1 year is definitely enough to change things. And my birthday's here already whether I want it or not.

Bathing Snowie.

Okay, decided to do a photo essay cause I haven't posted any photos in a long time. So I shall blog about bathing Snowie. =) Spent the entire Sunday Morning and Afternoon bathing him. Snowie's my dog by the way, in case you didn't know.

Haha, bathing a dog is much harder than expected really,it's like he knows when its time to bathe and will run around hiding so as to avoid bathing. But once you catch him and carry him then it's quite okay. Just soak him with water, add shampoo, then rinse it off. =D
He started playing around and biting his towel after bathing, still super wet though.
So cute right? XD
He lay like this for about 5 seconds wondering why everything turned black. =P
After drying was grooming and brushing and combing his hair. I think it's really painful cause the combs' teeth are sharp. So I have to run around can persuade him to stay still.

Haha okay, I think that's all the pictures I have. Was super wet by the time I finished bathing him. So I had to take a bath too. =)

Immigration & Checkpoints Authority Singapore.

Went to ICA to go extend my passport. If not I can't go Perth. Haha.

Gosh, like the walkway from Lavander MRT to ICA was filled with people giving out flyers for tuition. So if you feel like signing up for tuition courses and need some choices...But I don't cause I haven't gone for tuition since Sec1. =)

Anyways, went to queue up, got a ticket then waited for like half an hour. Bleh. I was one of the last few there anyways cause I was super late. Went to take a passport photo also, cause I have to go back there and make my IC in a few days time.

Finally extended my passport after a super boring wait, then took a train to Novena.

Stupid thing was, I extended my passport on time, then photocopied it on time, then I forgot to bring to school to hand up.

Ate at Novena Burger King then went to cell whilst my mother and sister went to Tan Tock Seng to visit my grandfather.

Cell was okay, no sermon or anything, so mostly just sharing. Cedric on school holiday already. =\

Went for supper with family at a coffee shop in Bishan. Ate Kway Chap. Haha. Haven't eaten it in a long time. In fact, I think it's the first time this year I've eaten kway chap.

Haha, wanted to take a photo before I started eating, but never mind...

End Of End Of Year Examinations.

Okay so exams ended! Strange, no one's really celebrating cause results will be handed back to us on Tuesday. Sighs.

Anyways, Additional Maths was horrible cause I didn't exactly know how to do the questions. Sort of like justing doing something without knowing whether you got it right or wrong. Except I'm sure I got it wrong. =\ Ah wells, I guess additional maths is after all, Additional. er..right?

Chemistry was okay. Finished everything in time too. Even though I was afraid I'd end up leaving 5 questions or something blank cause there was no time. But best of all, I could do the questions. Now I just don't know whether I got them right or wrong. Hope. Haha.

English Paper 2 was super easy in my opinion. Everyone's like:"WTH MINGWEI ENLGSIH PRO SOHWING OFF HIS SUEPR SIKLLS!!". But I did think it's easy, so whatever. Finished the paper in about 45minutes out of the 90minutes given, so I felt super bored and decided to copy out everything nicely so that the examiners won't have a headache when they see my horrible handwriting. =) I think I got at least most of the questions correct. Think.

Physics was hard. Cause I didn't exactly burn the midnight oil studying hard and memorising the formulas(In fact, I was watching iRobot. Blee.). So I didn't really know how to do those impossible Maths like questions which require knowledge of ke=1/2mv2 or pe=mgh or force=ma or all the rest of the formulas which I'm not including here cause I forgot them too. Blah. But those heat questions I could answer. I'm very good at the topic on heat. CAUSE I"M HAWT I think remembering Conduction, Convection and Radiation is much better than any of those complicated formulas. Don't know if I will score well, but think I can pass. =)

Maths Paper 2 was another horrible disgusting inhuman impossible exam. Especially this Cylinder question asking to find the volume of a cylinder and the volume of a hemisphere. I spent an atrociously long time trying to figure out how to get the answer and started to fill a page with workings and all that. And I didn't know what a hemisphere is so I just took it to be an object thingy and used 1/3base area times height. Then I look at the bottom of the question, and I see: (Take volume of cylinder to πr2h and volume of sphere to be 4/3πr3)
GAH. Minghui at this point disintegrated into a million pieces. In the end I used like 2 sheets of paper for that question alone, and the paper which I handed up had lots and lots of cancellations cause my correction tape ran out of tape. =/
And turns out a hemisphere is half a sphere.

And there was another stupid mistake where I spent 20minutes trying to figure out why this Cosine Rule did not work. Then I realised my calculator was set in the wrong mode and hence all my answers up to that point was probably wrong. Suay right? I don't dare speculate about how well/bad I'll do.

Okay enough of Maths, blah. Geography for considerably better. Cause I at least tried to study for about an hour just before sleeping. Yay Minghui studied. Worst part was I couldn't get to sleep after studying so I spent about 4 or 5 hours lying on my bed trying to get to sleep. Should have studied longer or something.

Could answer the questions within the time limit. Though I finished with 5 minutes to spare. I think I did sidetrack quite a lot. Haha. And I added in lots of stupid pointless stuff. Like:"Tectonic plates, also known as Lithospheric plates, form sections of the earth's crust that float around on the mantle." Stupid la. I have no idea why I memorised the word Lithospheric, and I probably won't forget it now. =| Think I should do quite well, if I don't it will mean that Minghui studying is pointless.

Exams ended for me with Geography. Went to Canteen and waited for the Woei Jiun who had Pure Bio. Went to Nina's house to watch a movie, but no one was really watching and we all just ended up talking and laughing. =D

Everyone's like going cycling at Pulau Ubin tomorrow. But I can't go cause I have to go renew my passport and make my ic if they allow it. Can't go to play Halo3 at Wee Jin's house either. =(

Exams are over, yet no one really seems to be happy.

Mathematics Paper 1/History.

Okay. Slept from 3am to 10am. Then 2pm to 5pm on Saturday. No idea why I slept so long.

So I still felt tired even after sleeping 10 hours. Then I was lazing around wondering if I should start studying for exams. Then I decided to go Sentosa with family instead.

Blee. I feel so guilty. But ate at the Sentosa Koufu anyways. =P

Almost went for the Luge ride, but since it was so dark and 15 minutes to the closing time. =(

Went to Vivo City and bought a novel. =D One Under by Graham Hurley. Finished all 479 pages today. I think I'm wasting my money buying novels. Should try to read books from the Library instead. At least I won't waste my money on 2 days of entertainment. =/ But the book is nice though, very detailed on British Police investigations. And it's very disturbingly horrible in some parts.

Today was Maths Paper 1. Didn't complete 2 questions on time cause I was like taking my time and doing things slowly until I realised there was only 5 minutes left. Moral of the Story: Always look at the clock when sitting for an exam. =(

History was no better too. Cause the only topic I studied for was not tested. So not only did I waste all my valuable brain cells trying to memorise a topic, I also memorised a topic that was pointless for this exam. Awesome.

Ate at KFC for lunch. Then went home on MRT.

English Paper 1/Social Studies.

Blah. No exams yesterday for some weird unknown reason. But no one's really complaining right? =D

Anyways, English Paper 1 today. At first I decided to do some argumentative and started writing about why listening to adults for advice was better than listening to friends. Then about 20 minutes into the paper I changed my mind and decided to do the one-word topic. =\

Haha, I think I wrote horribly out of point because my story was about someone about to commit suicide which has totally no link to the topic "Challenges". Bleh. And I wrote so many words that I now have 3 blisters on my fingers. And my pen which I bought a week ago is now running out of ink.

Social Studies was worse cause I didn't revise or study the day before. Couldn't really remember any points at all, so I guess my Source Based question will score much higher then the essay.

Played electric guitar for worship at Church today. This time had lots and lots of distortion parts. Haha. Feels different cause if you play acoustic, you'd focus more on the strumming and rhythm but playing electric requires more of intensity and dynamics.

136 took super long to come today. And I feel too tired to blog now la. =P

End Of Year Examinations

The End of Year Examinations started today with Chinese papers 1, 2, and 3. Like: TRIPLE KILL.

Paper 1 was horrible cause I totally did not memorise the format for the letter writing. Letter writing is pointless anyways, like who is going to be sending letters to each other in the future? And who's going to bother about writing the date or title or whatever in some proper format? Unless you're going to be a Chinese Lawyer (or mailman) in the future, I see no point in writing letters. =D

Paper 2 was horrible cause the passages were really really hard to understand and explain. Especially those "use your own Chinese words" questions. Which I left totally blank. And those "do you agree? explain why" questions which I answered but wrote stupid meaningless stuff. I think the teacher marking my paper will laugh. Heehee.

Paper 3 was horrible cause I want it to be horrible. Horrible.

But anyways, we should celebrate cause Chinese exams are over for the rest of the year! YAY!

Left with Social Studies and English and Chemistry and Physics and Additional Maths and Elementary Maths and History and Pure Geography. Awesome!

I found out that I'm selected for the Perth Trip. But only subsidised 20%. Meaning if I want to go, I'll have to pay $1370. Now I don't know if I should go or not. =(
